Unfortunately, this school is terribly overrated! I graduated a few years ago and all I have to say is while there are a few good teachers, most are rude, unhelpful, and don't teach. The math and science departments are among the worst. The guidance counselors are never available (if they are they don't help you whatsoever) and in fact many tell you that you won't get in to most of the colleges you are applying to (it happened to me and I got into 3 of the 4 my in which my counselor said I wouldn't.) On top of that all, many teachers double as an athletic coach. All in all, their attention goes to the sport, instead of actually teaching. Thinking of moving to Wilton for excellent schools? Think again .

I'm a current student in Wilton High School. (sophmore) The principal may be a complete waste of intercom time at WHS, but our school still manages to send students to Ivy League schools like Yale, and MIT. Wilton High School is an amazing learning environment, but the amount of suffacation and expectations are increasing by the class period.
MIT is not an Ivy league, but I have heard that this is an exceptional public school.
